THOMAS M.DUNNE

Completed level 2 education in Ireland
- HNC Electrical Engineering Paddington College of Technology

Engineering
Trained and worked as an Electrical Engineer with the London Electricity Board.

Management Training
Joined Unilever as a Management Trainee.

Industrial Engineering

Worked as an Industrial Engineer. Completed major projects in reorganisation of Plant Layouts, Efficiency Studies and Incentive Schemes for approximately 2,000 people.

Training
Training Manager. Completed Assessment of Training Needs and Training Plan for a Plant of approximately 700 people, implemented Operator and Supervisor training and liased with other plants to implement Management by Objectives and Succession Planning. Carried out program on ethnic culture of Asian Community within the Company.

HR Management
Assistant Personnel Manager for a plant of approximately 1,500 people. Within one year became Personnel Manager for that plant with responsibilities for all HR Policies. Was heavily involved in Industrial Relations at Local and National level, completing agreements on Wages, Terms and Conditions. Took additional responsibility for HR at a second plant of 1,000 people with a separate HR function.

Head-hunted to Tilling/BTR, appointed Group HR Manager in the new Medical Division, prepared new HR manuals for Group, ultimate responsibility for all IR matters, Recruitment programs for senior Management i.e. General Managers and Finance Directors. Became advisor on HR matters to other companies in the Group.

General Management
Appointed MD of medium size Company in the Medical Division, developed and restructured product range and substantially improved profitability and won two group awards for performance. Amalgamated two other Companies, moved two plants and built approximately 175,000 square feet of additional facility. Rationalised Boards of Directors and other management Groups, opened German marketing facility and negotiated major projects with US, Middle East and UK Government departments.

Own Business
Successfully set up and operated his own food manufacturing and food distribution business in Spain.

Management Consultancy / Training
On his return to Ireland, Tom joined Irish Business Training as a Senior Management Consultant and HR Specialist.

Major Strengths
Enthusiasm, tenacity, extensive knowledge in HR, Employment Law, Managing Change and Crisis Management, Strategic Planning and a range of management skills to best utilise Human Resources. Understands fully the need for training to meet specific daily requirements and that training must be geared to meet individual and company desideratum. DONAL FITZGIBBON

Having graduated from UCD in 1973 and joined Kerry VEC, Donal worked for almost four years in the Agricultural Sector. He attended an intensive course in Strasbourg on facilitation skills. In 1977 he worked as branch manager with ACC Bank and oversaw the development of the bank from a sole lender for agricultural purposes to being a broad-spectrum bank.

Donal was elected Chairman of Limerick GAA from 1998-2002, which saw the county contest six All-Ireland finals and winning five of those. He oversaw the development of a new modern 50,000 capacity stadium in the city as well as the development of a 14-acre site with modern training facilities.

As a result of Donal's extensive experience in leading and managing diverse teams, he has designed and delivered Leadership Programmes to improve communication and people management techniques for front-line managers and supervisors.

DYMPHNA ORMOND

Dymphna has over 13 years experience in industry. During her working career with companies in both Ireland and the UK, Dymphna has worked with teams to formulate and implement strategies to address market demands. She has also managed and built more valuable relationships with customers developing and delivering training programmes to address their needs. She worked as a Change Agent to develop an innovative culture, and managed new product introductions. The skills developed include excellent interpersonal, consultancy, presentation, facilitation, organisational, customer awareness, project management and problem solving skills.

RACHEL JOYCE

Rachel's degree has given her a broad understanding of marketing. However, it is her practical experience gained in working in Call Centre & Retail environments in senior positions over a number of years that makes Rachel an exceptional facilitator. She has training/facilitator experience in both the public and private sector and is equally well received in both. Rachel has also conducted 1 - 1 sessions with individuals who have specific requirements. Her major strengths are determination, enthusiasm and the ability to empathise with people at all levels of organisations.

LISA WIXTED

Lisa completed her BA Business and Sociology at trinity college Dublin in 2002. She then acquired a diploma in advertising in London and is currently undertaking a PHD.

Lisa has experience across a broad range of industry and market sectors within the spheres of government, sport and charity. She identifies, investigates and presents on problems for clients concerned with communication strategy and markets.

She has the capacity to work in intense and stressful environments with tight deadlines. She has managed sales promotions, radio promotions, product launches, in store and direct marketing campaigns. In 2003 Lisa moved into the area of in-company training and business consultancy and brings flair, enthusiasm and a fresh approach to her role

GERRY HOPPER

Gerry's broad experience spanning 30 years would be invaluable to any organisation. He has acted as a consultant and trainer for various organisations including the Revenue Commissioners, Bank of Ireland, The Eastern Health Board, The Department of Agriculture, The Department of Education and Science. He has also worked on consultancy assignments in Zambia, Russia, Sierra Leone and Saudi Arabia.

Cariona is a business consultant, writer and trainer with expertise in the field of marketing and people management skills. She is the former Head of Campaigns with the Irish Exporters Association and worked for over ten years with the German-Irish Chamber of Commerce. As Head of Business Consultancy with the Chamber she provided consultancy and training on market entry strategies to German and Irish companies as well as providing training in cross-cultural negotiations. Cariona is a fluent German speaker. She is a regular contributor to Irish Marketing Journal

KERRIE O'SULLIVAN

Kerrie is an accomplished business generalist with blue chip experience, combined with proven commercial aptitude; Kerrie takes initiative & a strategic approach to business practises and problem solving. Kerrie has many years experience in the areas of project management, sales, management, marketing & customer service. Kerrie has previous management experience in the food and manufacturing sectors in Ireland. Kerrie has lectured & tutor managed within third level colleges.

MARGARET KEARNS

Margaret's background is in the Financial Services sector. During her career she worked in a variety of roles, including customer care, complaint handling, sales, training and telephone marketing. She has also worked in the hospitality and retail sector providing front line customer service, and has project managed a number of hospitality events over the past year. Her career with Irish Business Training began as a Business Development Executive in April, 1998 when she was responsible for developing the client base in the West of Ireland and the Midlands region.

Margaret consults with the Training and Human Resource personnel within organisations in order to identify training needs and to provide effective and practical training and developmental solutions. The skills developed throughout her working career to date include: excellent interpersonal, consultancy, presentation, facilitation, customer awareness and problem solving skills.

HELEN KEOWN

During her early career, Helen was responsible for developing sales and marketing strategies for a number of prominent organisations in Ireland. During this time she developed in-house training programmes on areas such as: brand awareness; yield management; relationship marketing; cross-selling and customer care. She also worked with sales and marketing teams in the development and marketing of new products and the implementation of culture change.

For the past 6 years Helen has designed and delivered Marketing, Branding and Sales training programmes to a range of businesses within the retail, services and tourism sectors. She has also provided sales and marketing consultancy, mystery shopper and mentoring for private business owners.
