logically

- To overcome nerves and build confidence
- To control and develop your rapport with the audience
- To handle questions and interruptions with ease
- To overcome typical pitfalls when presenting
- To develop and present the most appropriate visual aids to support your
presentation
- To develop a personal action plan for each participant highlighting their
individual strengths and areas for improvement
Training Methods
Irish Business Training Ltd uses a variety of training methods combining
tutor presentations, discussions, questionnaires, role-plays, exercises and
videos.
As this programme is designed for a small group it will be highly customised
to the needs of the individual delegates, and will involve one on one consultation
by the Irish Business Training, Training Consultant.
Feedback from the tutor and course members is constructive and
intended to help improve skills and build confidence
A full range of support material will be provided to all participants.
- This programme is highly participative with particular emphasis
on skill development. We recommend a group of 6 - 8 delegates
- It is envisaged that each participant will deliver a 5-10
minute presentation during the day. Delegates should prepare for this and
bring with them their own material (on power- point / on acetates / on a script)
in order to deliver this talk.
- It is imperative for the success of the day - that each delegate
bring a presentation with them - in order that they can acquire maximum benefit
from the programme.
- Depending on the size of the group and the pace of the training
- delegates may have the opportunity to deliver their presentation more that
once.
